Enteligent Raises $6 Million to Scale Commercialization of the World’s First Solar Powered DC-to-DC Charger
Enteligent Inc., a developer of solar-powered DC-to-DC chargers for electric vehicles (EVs), has raised $6 million in capital from investors to scale the commercialization of its photovoltaic (PV) module-level power optimizers and its DC-to-DC based bi-directional EV chargers. In particular, Enteligent is supplying the world’s first long-dwell-time 25kW DC-to-DC EV charger to a large logistics company to power its newly electrified delivery fleet. The funding round was led by Taronga Ventures, a leading global technology investor focused on driving innovation across real asset sectors such as infrastructure and real estate. This recent funding round brings the company’s total fundraising to $19 million since 2021, with historical investment from NOVA, an affiliate of global building materials company Saint-Gobain.
Enteligent Teams with PIONIX to Integrate EVerest for TLCEV DC-Coupled Solar-Powered EVSE
Enteligent, developer of solar-powered electric vehicle service equipment (EVSE) and solar power optimization technologies, is expediting the development of its TLCEV solar EV charger by teaming with PIONIX. The collaboration aims to use the PIONIX solution BaseCamp as the operating system for Enteligent's TLCEV EVSE. BaseCamp is the commercial software stack for EV charging based on open-source EVSE software EVerest. Announced earlier this year, Enteligent’s TLCEV EVSE is the world’s first direct DC-coupled solar-powered EV charger.

Proposed guidance to the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) Advanced Manufacturing Tax Credit (45X MPTC) equalizes the tax benefits for solar inverter and microinverter suppliers.
